Opposition to Term Extension for Sound Recordings

Policy research and advocacy — as a researcher, expert and advocate — against copyright term extension for sound recordings.

Contributed to major reports on the topic (the CIPIL report for the Gowers Review) and, in 2008–2009, was the leading person engaging policymakers and MEPs on it, encouraging others (fellow economists, the Open Rights Group) to engage too.
