Renamed ideas/ to projects/
Have been reflecting on how to name a section that contains things I am working on. Some of which are clearly active projects while others are still exploratory or only partially formed. I initially called this section "Ideas" to reflect the early, generative stage of much of the work, but over time many of these ideas naturally develop into concrete projects.
So … should this section be called "Projects or “Ideas" – knowing that in both cases will have some things that are just an idea and some things that are being realized?
Choice: Projects because …
"Projects" is a more conventional and legible label that matches user expectations and signals commitment and action, while still comfortably encompassing early-stage concepts. "Ideas" that contains realized work creates expectation mismatch, whereas "Projects" section with varying levels of maturity feels natural and requires no reinterpretation by the reader.
