Got my export from chatgpt as i want to experiment with searching / using this locally (chatgpt search is pretty so-so IME)
Howto: You can use the built-in export feature on the ChatGPT site to get all of your chats as a file: log into chat.openai.com → Settings → Data Controls → Export Data and follow the process. You will receive a download (typically with a conversations.json) of your history via email.
🚩 There's no API to do this. so only manual for now, no way to automate 😬
Similar gripe to that i have about google takeout.
It comes to only 562Mb and i bet a bunch of that is images
conversations.join is only 50mb. sounds about right.
Investigated alternative to superwhisper out of a mixed experience with it today (not really superwhisper responsibility but i'm finding i get distracted trying to sort out superwhisper)
